Horizontal Boring Mills

Operated several different models of Boring Mills from 4 inch to 6 inch Floor Bores.

Machined twin screw air compressor casings by Dresser/Rand which the bare casings alone weigh 5,000 lbs. each

Setup and machined 35 foot fabricated beams used for lifting ladles of molten steel



Lathes:

Setup and machined steel spindles weighing as much as 45,000 lbs. (22,000 kgs.)

Setup and machined the snout of a locomotive crankshaft

Completely machined a 30″ inside diameter x 36″ wide split bronze bushing

Repaired air start cylinder head assembly for main ship engine deemed to be scrap
